Darn tasty Brown Ale
2017 marks the twelfth year of celebrating and commemorating the life of our friend, Bob Hirsch.
Charles “Bob” Hirsch (1984-2005) is our inspiration for Bob’s Brown Ale, having fought cancer for half of his 21 years. We brew this beer in his memory and donate 100% of what we take in to RMHC. Bob’s mom, Sue, chose RMHC as the recipient charity for our donation, saying, “They put us up for treatment every time we came in from Alaska.”
We release Bob's Brown Ale on May 14th, Bob's birthday, every year. This year we are making an exception and releasing it a day early on Saturday, May 13th. Look for it in growlers at the brewery, and at participating bars and restaurants around Washington and Idaho.
And the beer? It's a big, hoppy brown and so, so tasty.
Released May 14th every year!
