Brewer's Night

Aside from describing the town as a historic place for indigenous Snohomish people to gather for clam harvesting and potlaches, the Wikipedia page for Langley has little else EXCEPT a reference to a feral rabbit population that started when some county fair rabbits escaped in the “late 1900’s” and became a real problem in 2015 (folks wanted to release raptors to take care of the “situation”). Ok, what or when is “late 1900’s”? I mean, 1900’s sounds so old timey, but I was born in the late 1900’s. What year could they mean? The internet is full of additionally vague references to the Great Rabbit Escape - “decades ago” “many years ago” “4H rabbits” “barnyard scramble”. One Reddit user claims an even more recent escape of a “big lop eared bunny”. Like, what? Honestly, you should go to Langley to get the real story. Oh also beer, swag and Andrew. Mostly in that order.
