Part-Time Beers

These are limited release beers and are generally only available at the brewery.

Bob's Brown Ale
Arguably one of our most important and popular brews, Bob's Brown Ale is brewed once a year and released every May 14th (Bob's birthday). 100% of the proceeds from Bob's are donated in honor of Charles "Bob" Hirsch to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Western Washington and Alaska to provide a "home away from home" for Children's Hospital patients and families. A big, chocolaty, hoppy brown brew, the only thing nutty about it are the brewers that make it. ABV 6.2% half gallon fill $12

Bob's is a special beer brewed in honor of our friend, Bob Hirsch, who fought cancer valiantly for many years. He lived his final days to the fullest and he is an inspiration to all of us.

Bob's Brown Ale will be released every May 14th (Bob's birthday). 100% of our proceeds from Bob's will be donated in honor of Charles "Bob" Hirsch to the Seattle Ronald McDonald House to provide a "home-away-from-home" for Children's Hospital patients and families.

Bob's Brown Ale is big and brown with lots of hops. We use a blend of 2-row Pale, Caramel, Chocolate, Munich, and Roasted Barley Malts, then add sh*t loads of Centennial and Crystal hops to make this a meaty brown brew. Alcohol by volume is 6.3%.

Our version of this less-than-famous style of mead is technically a bottle-conditioned ale using local blackberry honey. We add Northern Brewer hops and ferment it with a Belgian yeast strain. The malt bill includes Munich, Pilsner and Special B malts. Meow.

Johnny Utah Session IPA

For normal people
Darn tasty low-alcohol IPA

For beer lovers
Paying homage to the great state of Utah and the possibly the finest actor of our generation, Johnny Utah is a low-alcohol, session IPA. It's packed full of Chinook and Crystal hops making this very light-bodied ale taste bitter and a lot like grapefruit juice! Get your hops and don't get all jack-wagoned up at the same time! Just remember.... "Utah, get me two!"

For beer geeks
Two-row Pale, Light Munich, Cara-Pilsner.
Crystal and Chinook Hops. IBU's 50. English Ale Yeast.
Alcohol by volume 3.99%.

Waldman Belgian Pale

For normal people
Darn tasty Belgian Pale

For beer lovers
Waldman is modeled after an English Ordinary Bitter with a few decidedly Belgian stylings. It is brewed with Northern Brewer hops and 36 lbs of Belgian Candi Sugar then fermented with a Belgian Ale yeast. We finish with Brettanomyces "Wild" Yeast Strain and a heavy dose of dry hops. The Brett is carried over to the bottles where Waldman continues to develop complex flavors throughout bottle conditioning

For beer geeks
Northern Brewer Hops. IBU's 35. English Ale Yeast.
Alcohol by volume 6.1%.

Superchopp IPA

For normal people
Darn tasty Hoppy Red

For beer lovers
An experiment brewed during the hop shortage, this "accident" has become one of our most popular beers. It doesn't quite earn the title of Full Time Beer, but our customers have made it clear we should keep this hopped-up version of our red ale in stock, or else.

For beer geeks
Two-row, Caramel, Carapils, Munich, and black malt.
Columbus Hops. IBU's 80. English Ale Yeast.
Alcohol by volume 7.2%.
